How the SSD path should be separated during diagnosis
Aftermarket listings may use overlapping names such as SSD card, SSD adaptive board, SSD core-board cable or storage board. Treat those labels as starting points. The useful diagnostic model separates the storage device, interface board, interconnect, main/core-board path, USB-C export path and firmware state.
Built-in SSD storage
Holds Cine footage. DJI specifies 1TB nominal capacity for Mavic 3 Cine; usable capacity shown by a computer or app can be lower after formatting and system allocation.
SSD adaptive board
Part of the internal interface path. A board fault is only one possible cause when storage is missing or unstable.
Coaxial or interconnect cable
A torn, pinched, contaminated or poorly seated cable can imitate a board or storage failure.
Core-board and power path
Power, communication and main-board damage can prevent the SSD subsystem from initializing even when the SSD hardware is intact.
USB-C export path
A cable, computer port or destination-drive bottleneck can look like an SSD problem. DJI recommends its 10Gbps Lightspeed cable for the fastest export workflow.

Footage recovery matters, the aircraft has unresolved liquid damage, several subsystems fail together, board revisions do not match, or a seller is proposing parts replacement without evidence that the failed component has been isolated.
