Project answer
The word commercial does not decide which pilot training is required, and a Matrice model name does not automatically place a mission in the specific category. Define the operation, site, people, exact aircraft and payload first, then use current DGAC, EASA and AlphaTango routes to select the competence the project needs.

What must the training prepare the team to do?
Start with the client's deliverable: inspection, mapping, thermal work, inventory, site security or media capture. Record the location, people, visibility, operating limits, responsible organisation and exact Matrice configuration. Training is useful when it closes a real competence gap; it is not a substitute for defining the project.
How do the open category and specific category change the decision?
The open category covers low-risk operations, including some professional work, when all of its limits are met. The specific category applies when the operation falls outside those limits and requires an operation-appropriate route. The category follows the real mission rather than the commercial label.
Use current French DGAC and EASA guidance. AlphaTango supports several French administrative steps and access routes. Where a standard scenario or another specific-category route is relevant, verify the current competence requirements, including when CATS and practical training apply. Do not rely on an obsolete national scenario, historical course page or certificate sold by an unverified website.
What should a training-provider file contain?
Collect the current syllabus, prerequisites, aircraft used, practical scope, assessment method, instructor identity, limits of the award and written commercial terms. Use the appropriate DGAC route to verify examinations or credentials relevant to the operation. A familiar logo or a seller statement is not enough.
This page does not quote a fixed course price, promise a duration or guarantee a job or operating approval. Obtain a written proposal tied to the team's starting competence, operation and equipment.
Why must the exact Matrice configuration be part of the plan?
Record the aircraft, controller, batteries, payload, accessories, required software state, condition and support route. Use the Drone Wiki to identify the system and the comparison pillar to distinguish documented model roles. Training should involve the configuration or operating concepts the team will actually deploy.
For a Reboot Hub equipment enquiry, the proposal should show the exact system, included items, known points, unknowns and written terms. Business, fleet and project orders follow the written quotation or contract; they do not automatically inherit a personal-order DDP statement.
What is the go or no-go record before enrolment and purchase?
