This is the Reboot Hub index for DJI repair procedures. It is a research layer written by our MOHRSS-certified technicians — use it to identify the failing subsystem and understand the repair scope before you order a part or send a drone in.
It does not replace a physical diagnosis.
Fault triage
Start from the symptom
Most DJI faults fall into four families. Find the row that matches what you are seeing, then confirm the exact model on its model wiki before ordering anything.

Service rules our technicians follow
Use the same order of checks every time. It prevents incompatible parts, avoidable electrical damage and calibration failures after an otherwise successful repair.

Pre-service check
Confirm the exact model, variant, error message and visible damage before selecting parts. Never substitute a part from a similar model without verification.

Power safety
Remove the battery before opening the drone. Check for moisture, corrosion and overheated connectors before reconnecting power.

Cable handling
Flex and coaxial cables are fragile. Route them without sharp bends and inspect the connector locks before closing the shell.

Post-repair calibration
After replacing gimbal, vision, GNSS, IMU, shell, arm or propulsion parts, run the required calibration and perform a controlled low-altitude test.
Value check
Repair or replace?
Use the fault scope and the real replacement cost together. This avoids spending on a repair that cannot restore dependable flight.
One contained fault, no water history
A repair is worth doing when the failure is contained to one module and the drone has no water history.
Multiple systems or liquid evidence
It is usually not worth doing when several unrelated systems fail at once, there is liquid evidence, or the part cost approaches the value of a comparable pre-owned unit. Compare against real figures in the DJI Repair Cost Database.
