Exact-item evidence for used FPV equipment

Start with the physical Avata 2 kit, not the label: a sound used-equipment decision connects the actual airframe, camera, battery, storage route, named control equipment, current media and any observed function. The DJI Avata 2 specification gives a reliable model reference; it does not fill gaps in the evidence for one specific aircraft.

Use the Avata 2 record as a model reference

The published DJI Avata 2 record lists an approximate takeoff weight of 377 g, a 1/1.3-inch image sensor with 12 MP effective pixels, a 155-degree field of view and a 12 mm equivalent f/2.8 lens. It also identifies a single-axis mechanical gimbal for tilt. Those details are useful when a buyer needs to confirm that the airframe and camera shown in current media match the Avata 2 platform being discussed.

The same record lists 46 GB of internal storage and specifies multiple video routes, including 4K 16:9 options up to 100 fps. These numbers are not an item condition grade. They simply make the review more exact: an aircraft image, a camera sample and a storage observation should all be tied to the same physical unit rather than being assembled from general Avata 2 material.

Published maximums have limits. DJI's stated approximate 23-minute maximum flight time is measured in a defined windless, sea-level test condition with a fully charged battery and specified camera settings. It is a reference for the model, not a promise about the remaining performance of any individual used battery or flight set.

Build one connected evidence chain

1. AirframeShow the actual aircraft body, ducts, camera area, gimbal movement area and visible exterior state.

3. ObservationConnect a current power, camera or control observation to that same identified aircraft and kit.

A collection of attractive images is not automatically an evidence record. The useful sequence is traceable: the image of the airframe, image of the supplied power equipment and any functional clip should plainly concern the same unit. When that connection is missing, the correct response is to state the limit. That keeps a buyer from mistaking a generic model showcase for information about the offered kit.

Review the aircraft and imaging route as separate items

Airframe exterior

Use current images to review the body, propeller ducts, visible fasteners, camera housing, gimbal travel area and other exterior surfaces. An image can document what is visible; it cannot by itself establish an unseen internal history.

Camera and gimbal

The Avata 2 reference specifies a 1/1.3-inch 12 MP sensor and a single-axis tilt gimbal. A current sample should identify the actual unit and state which camera or gimbal observation was made, without extending that observation into an unrestricted performance claim.

Control equipment

Name the controller or viewing device actually supplied and show it with the same kit. Do not substitute an assumed configuration from product-family imagery, and do not treat the model name as proof that every FPV component is present.

Functional record

A short, current observation has a clear purpose when it identifies the unit and the function being reviewed. Keep the description narrow: it can show what was observed at that time, while unobserved functions remain unobserved.

For a buyer, this separation is practical. An aircraft can look clean while a component is absent; a component can be named while its exact state is not shown. By placing each claim alongside the piece of evidence it relies on, the record stays readable for people and usable for a later reviewer without inventing certainty.

Make the power and storage routes explicit

The DJI Avata 2 Intelligent Flight Battery entry lists 2,150 mAh, 31.7 Wh and an approximate 145 g weight. The charging-hub entry identifies sequential charging for three batteries. These source facts help distinguish the relevant power route from a generic battery photograph. They do not prove battery health, charge history or a future flight result for a particular used item.

Record every supplied battery separately, together with the actual charging equipment shown. An exact-item review should say what was observed, what labels or identifiers are visible, and which component is absent or not evidenced. This is better than calling a kit complete when the evidence only shows one part of it.

Storage should receive the same disciplined treatment. The model reference includes 46 GB of internal storage and supports exFAT. A buyer may need a current storage observation or sample record, but it should stay connected to the aircraft being reviewed. Do not infer that a stated storage capacity proves the status of material that is not actually shown.

Keep the purchase record specific and useful

  • Use the 377 g, camera, gimbal, battery and storage specifications only as a model-reference checklist.
  • Show the actual aircraft and name every supplied component rather than assuming a standard kit.
  • Keep a functional observation connected to the same unit and state its limited scope.
  • Treat DJI's controlled maximum flight-time data as reference context, not an item-level promise.
  • Leave missing information visible so that a buyer can resolve it before relying on the kit.

This approach makes a used Avata 2 record more valuable than a broad reassurance. It distinguishes factual model context from the exact item, shows a buyer where the evidence begins and ends, and creates a cleaner path from a listing image to a documented decision.

Exact-kit questions

Does the model name establish a complete used Avata 2 kit?

No. The model name identifies a platform. The aircraft, battery set, storage record, controller or viewing device, accessories and current observations must be documented for the actual item.

Can a flight-time specification prove the condition of one battery?

No. DJI's stated flight-time figure is a controlled reference. A used battery decision needs the exact battery shown, its observed state and the limits of the available evidence.

Why should the internal storage route be recorded?

The Avata 2 specification includes 46 GB of internal storage. That fact does not prove what files remain, but it makes the storage route a specific item for the evidence record.
