Exact-item acceptance evidence

Use a system check, not a power-on claim: after work affecting the DJI FPV aircraft electronics, the useful record is a dated sequence that links the exact aircraft to camera output, gimbal response, vision surfaces, battery and charging observations, controller input and live view. A repaired unit should never be represented by an unrelated flight clip or a generic image of the model.

Repair location does not set a DJI FPV repair outcome

A repair described as China-based or local does not by itself establish what board-level work occurred, what was tested, the final cost or the future behavior of a DJI FPV system. Use the exact repair record, the current aircraft evidence and the applicable service terms. This page does not compare repair providers or promise an outcome for Prague, China or any other location.

Start with the DJI FPV reference, then inspect the item

The DJI FPV record identifies a 1/2.3-inch 12 MP camera with a 150-degree field of view, 14.66 mm equivalent focal length and f/2.8 aperture. It lists 4K at 50 or 60 fps and FHD at 50, 60, 100 or 120 fps. These are useful reference points when checking whether the camera view and recording path operate as expected for the platform. They do not prove the condition of an individual lens, sensor, gimbal or recording card.

The same record lists a single-axis tilt gimbal with electronic roll stabilization, approximately 795 g takeoff weight, forward binocular sensing and a downward binocular plus ToF sensing route. Forward obstacle sensing is listed for N mode only. An acceptance record should preserve that context instead of converting a feature label into a blanket statement about collision avoidance.

Four connected observations make the record useful

Keep the sequence short, but preserve the connection between each observation and the same aircraft. It is much stronger than a collection of unrelated clips. Where an item is not available for a safe flight observation, the record should state the limitation rather than implying that a flight result was obtained.

What the functional record should make visible

Camera and recording

Confirm a live image, focus range appropriate for the reference, stable recording start and stop, the selected resolution, card state and a playable sample. The DJI FPV record lists microSD support up to 256 GB; verify the actual card supplied rather than assuming one is included.

Gimbal and view

Record the tilt movement, physical clearance and stable image behavior. The platform uses single-axis tilt stabilization with an electronic roll axis; any unusual noise, restricted movement or unstable image belongs in the exception record.

Flight reference

Inspect propeller mounts, airframe surfaces, vision windows and battery fit before any controlled observation. DJI states an approximate 20-minute flight reference measured at 40 kph in windless conditions. It is not a prediction for a particular battery.

Link and controls

Show controller input and live view as a paired observation. The DJI FPV record lists GPS, GLONASS and Galileo, and a transmission reference that varies by the applicable standard. Do not turn a maximum-distance figure into an expected result for an exact location.

Battery and sensing claims need a named condition record

The DJI FPV battery record lists 2,000 mAh, 22.2 V nominal voltage, LiPo 6S chemistry and 44.4 Wh energy. Those numbers distinguish the platform's named battery from a vague statement that a pack is "good." A reliable handover record identifies the actual battery label, visible physical state, charging observation and any available usage history. Do not infer internal health from the published capacity or from one indicator display.

For sensing, clean and identify the forward and downward areas before an observation. The parameter record names the forward sensing range as 0.5 to 18 m and specifies that forward sensing is available in N mode only. The downward route uses binocular vision plus ToF. Conditions such as surface texture and lighting affect vision behavior, so visual evidence and a clear test boundary matter more than a generic assurance.

Make the handover record usable after the observation

A useful record lets a later reader understand what was actually seen without filling gaps from memory. Keep the aircraft identifier, the date, the named battery and controller, the version of the equipment being observed, each completed check and every exception together. Retain the original image or clip where the exact item can be recognized. A cropped screen or a generic model photograph may support an explanation, but it cannot replace item-level evidence.

When a check is incomplete, write that plainly. For example, a ground observation is not a substitute for a controlled flight observation; a camera preview is not a recorded-file check; and a battery indicator is not a long-duration result. This distinction protects the buyer, the technician and the record itself. It also makes future review more efficient because each claimed observation has a defined scope.

Keep the record honest about what it cannot establish

  • It cannot establish the internal history of an aircraft from its exterior alone.
  • It cannot prove a future flight time, range or sensor response from one short observation.
  • It cannot establish every included part unless each component is named and shown.
  • It cannot replace the local operating requirements for the place where the aircraft will be flown.
  • It should separate a completed observation from an item that still needs review.

Acceptance questions

Can a power-on screen prove that a DJI FPV is ready?

No. A power-on screen is only one observation. The aircraft, camera, gimbal, vision route, battery, charging path and live-view link should be identified and checked as a connected system.

Does this guide prove the condition of a listed DJI FPV?

No. The model facts describe the DJI FPV platform. Photographs, a current functional record, the named components and any stated exceptions are needed for the exact item.

Should the published flight-time figure be used as a battery promise?

No. DJI states the approximate 20-minute figure under a windless 40 kph flight test. Battery age, temperature, wind, settings and the condition of the supplied pack change a real result.
