Identify the exact headset before applying its specifications: the original DJI FPV Goggles Quick Start Guide records a twin 2-inch display, 1,440 by 810 resolution per screen, HDL FPV transmission, external power, interchangeable antennas and a defined physical-control layout. A particular headset still requires direct evidence for the lenses, display, padding, ports, antennas and supplied power components.
Use the published display design to identify the headset, not to assume condition
DJI describes the original FPV Goggles with two 2-inch screens, each at 1,440 by 810 resolution. It lists low-latency mode at 720p and 120 fps and high-quality mode at 720p and 60 fps. The guide says the minimum end-to-end latency reference is reached in Low Latency mode under its stated test conditions. It is not a promise that every individual headset, air unit, flight environment or connected device will deliver the same observation.
The fit controls are equally specific. The guide lists an interpupillary-distance slider with a 58 to 70 mm range, foam padding, lenses, a headband attachment and antennas. These published elements make a practical inspection order: document both lenses, the condition of the foam padding and headband attachments, the IPD slider movement, all fitted antennas and the front cover. Do not infer that a replacement or missing component is original merely because the model guide names the component.

Link status is a time-bounded observation
The Quick Start Guide describes linking the goggles to a racing drone equipped with the DJI FPV Air Unit. It instructs the user to power on the air unit and goggles, press the link button on both, then observe the air unit's green indicator and normal video display after a successful link. If goggles and a remote controller are used together, the guide says the air unit must link to the goggles first.
That sequence is useful for a record because it defines what a successful connection looks like at a particular time. It does not establish the identity or condition of an unshown air unit, controller, antenna or cable. It also does not describe unrelated goggles versions. A clean page names the exact headset and connected equipment, distinguishes a present link observation from the published procedure, and leaves unobserved components unknown.

The guide identifies channel adjustment buttons, a channel display, record button, back button and 5D button. Exact-item evidence should show the controls and current screen response separately.

Record the external power path and removable media
DJI specifies external power through the included cable and a DC 5.5 by 2.1 power port. It lists a 7.4 to 17.6 V power input, a USB-C port, an audio or AV-IN port and a microSD card slot. The guide also lists MP4 recording in H.264 and supported playback formats of MP4, MOV and MKV with named codecs. These specifications describe the headset architecture; they do not prove that an individual power cable, external supply, card or recorded file is supplied.
A useful exact-item record should photograph the power port and supplied cable, identify any external power source separately, inspect the USB-C and microSD areas, and name a card only if it is actually present.
