01 Born from Frustration
It started with a shattered drone and a repair bill that felt like a ransom. Our founder, Thomas Lau, asked a simple question: "Why does 'pre-owned' have to mean 'compromise'?"
We didn't want to just sell used electronics. We wanted to redefine them. What if "pre-owned" wasn't a question mark, but a guarantee? What if it signaled a device that was reborn to celebrate its original engineering, tested for real-world performance? This shared vision became the DNA of Reboot Hub.

Built for DJI owners worldwide. Reboot Hub serves a global customer base with documented inspection, repair, and sourcing standards. Hong Kong is our registered headquarters and Shenzhen is our repair base.
Supported by a specialist technical supply network. Our Shenzhen repair base gives our technical team practical access to genuine components. Rather than defaulting to whole-board replacement, we diagnose at component level where appropriate to preserve original parts and keep repair decisions transparent.

Our story is one of cultural synthesis. Thomas's formative years in Hong Kong instilled a deep respect for efficiency and real-world value. His secondary education in Singapore, a global hub of innovation, provided a foundational appreciation for engineering and systematic thinking.
Finally, his transformative experience at EHL (École hôtelière de Lausanne) - the world's #1 ranked hospitality management school (QS World University Rankings by Subject) - codified an uncompromising standard for quality and client service. At EHL, Thomas learned that true excellence is never accidental: it is built on rigorous processes, meticulous attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to the end user's experience. This philosophy, forged in an environment where perfection is the baseline, became the foundation of everything Reboot Hub does.
It was at the intersection of these three cultures - Hong Kong's pragmatic efficiency, Singapore's engineering mindset, and Switzerland's exacting standards - that the vision for Reboot Hub became clear.

Our engineers hold Level 3 Advanced Technician certification under China's National Vocational Skills Standard for UAV Assembly, Adjustment & Maintenance - issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China.

The journey began with a simple family conversation about China's booming "Low-altitude economy" policy. Our founder, Thomas Lau, identified a critical gap: a severe shortage of professional drone repair technicians, especially for overseas users, where services were scarce and prohibitively expensive. Leaving a successful career in the international hospitality industry, Thomas Lau, together with Alan Li to start up a brand called, Reboot Hub.
