Common Failure Modes
Symptoms: Image appears soft or recording is unavailable.
Likely areas: lens window, microSD, camera settings and aircraft interface
Check fixed focus and DJI-supported card/format before diagnosing hardware.
Symptoms: Camera does not initialize or stabilize.
Likely areas: mount, contacts, gimbal joints and aircraft firmware
Identify X3-specific hardware; X5-series mount details differ.
Repair Notes
The fixed-lens X3 differs from Zenmuse X5, X5R and X4S in optics, sensor and mounting.
Check media and H.264 mode against the official X3 table before attributing an issue to the sensor.
Confirm exact camera/mount components and written service scope after inspection.
