Common Failure Modes
Symptoms: CinemaDNG recording fails or files cannot be read.
Likely areas: SSD, reader, media contacts, firmware and workflow
Check the actual SSD/reader and DJI CineLight workflow before diagnosing the camera.
Symptoms: Initialization fails or stabilization is abnormal.
Likely areas: mount, supported lens, balance ring, hood and gimbal
Verify the exact X5R lens/mount configuration; avoid forcing a mechanically restricted gimbal.
Repair Notes
Distinguish camera, SSD and reader; their presence in a used bundle must be checked individually.
Use DJI-supported M4/3 lenses and the correct Inspire 1 X5-series mounting hardware.
Confirm exact X5R part identity and written scope before repair or replacement.
