Common Failure Modes
Symptoms: Still/video capture is unavailable or images appear soft.
Likely areas: lens window, focus mode, media, camera settings and aircraft interface
Confirm the supported Inspire 2 configuration and DJI app settings before considering parts.
Symptoms: The gimbal does not initialize or hold position.
Likely areas: mount, contacts, gimbal arms and firmware
Power down and check the exact X4S hardware; do not force a moving gimbal.
Repair Notes
X4S is fixed-lens and differs from X5S despite shared Inspire 2 mounting context.
Check H.264 and H.265 frame-rate limits separately before labeling a recording issue.
Confirm exact camera, mount and parts after inspection; no part interchangeability is implied.
