What did Draganfly announce on August 25, 2026?

Draganfly announced the appointment of retired US Marine Corps Brigadier General AJ Pasagian as President of Draganfly Defense USA, based on a report published by Yahoo Finance from a GlobeNewswire release.

Why did Draganfly appoint a retired general to lead its U.S. defense operations?

The company said the appointment reinforces its U.S. leadership as it responds to increasing demand for its defense and security products and services. The source does not provide additional details about specific contracts or programs.

How could this affect commercial drone buyers and repair customers?

Commercial buyers may see defense-oriented manufacturers shift resources toward government programs, which can influence product roadmaps, parts availability, and service lead times. Fleet managers should monitor vendor support commitments as defense demand grows.
