Drone Wiki Guide
DJI Maintenance Database - Official Service Intervals & Wearing Parts
Quick answer
DJI enterprise drones follow a factory maintenance program measured in flight hours or calendar time, whichever comes first: Basic service at 150 h / 6 months, Standard at 300 h / 12 months (wearing parts replaced), Premium at 900 h / 36 months (core components replaced). Agras agricultural motors are replaced at 1,000 flight hours.
How often does each DJI enterprise drone need servicing?
Intervals are flight hours OR time since activation/last service — whichever comes first. DJI may adjust programs by region; confirm with DJI Support or an authorized service provider.
| Aircraft | Basic | Standard / Routine | Premium / Deep |
|---|---|---|---|
| Matrice 350 RTK | 150 h or 6 months | 300 h or 12 months + wearing parts | 900 h or 36 months + core components |
| Matrice 30 / 30T | Per actual use | 300 h or 1 year + wearing parts | 900 h or 3 years + propulsion components |
| Matrice 400 | 150 h or 6 months | 300 h or 12 months + wearing parts | 900 h or 36 months + core components |
| Matrice 4T / 4E | Per actual use | 200 h or 1 year + wearing parts | Not offered — two-tier program |

Which parts wear out — and when does DJI replace them?
The Matrice 400 manual is the most explicit, giving per-part replacement intervals:
| Part | Qty | By activation time | By flight time | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Propellers | 4 | 12 months | 300 h | Standard |
| Gimbal dampers | 8 | 12 months | 300 h | Standard |
| Landing-gear mounting base | 2 | 12 months | 300 h | Standard |
| LiDAR dome cover | 1 | 12 months | 300 h | Standard |
| Arm assembly | 4 | 36 months | 900 h | Premium |
| Shell (front/upper/left/right) | 1 | 36 months | 900 h | Premium |

How hard do Agras agricultural drones wear?
Agricultural propulsion carries 40–100 kg payloads — DJI defines much tighter cycles than for camera drones:
| Module | Inspection cycle | Replace after |
|---|---|---|
| Motor | First check after 100 flights, then every 100 flight hours; also after ESC stall, abnormal temperature or impact | 1,000 h |
| Motor internal resistance | First check after 100 flights, then every 100 h or 1 month | 1,000 h |
| ESC | Every 6 months | 36 months |
| Motor base | First check after 100 flights, then every 100 h or 1 month; after any impact | 500 h |

What this means when buying pre-owned
Flight hours are the real odometer. A drone approaching 300 flight hours is due wearing-part replacement; approaching 900 hours it is due core-component replacement. Always ask for the HMS (Health Management System) logs from DJI Pilot 2 — they record per-module health. Reboot Hub inspects every pre-owned enterprise aircraft against these same DJI standards before listing.
